My name is Nadia Sadati and I am a nineteen-year-old girl who is very passionate about helping underserved communities. As a first generation American who spent many summers in Panama with my maternal grandparents, I've experienced first-hand the lack of education tools the Ngäbe-Buglé People (the largest and most populous of Panama's three indigenous comarcas) have access to. Currently, after the spread of COVID-19, they are unable to continue their education due to the lack of technology availability. Their struggles have inspired me to create Education Accessible For All, a nonprofit organization that helps bridge the obstacles that come from remote learning.

The Ngäbe-Buglé are considered to be the most impoverished of all indigenous peoples in Panamá as a result of insufficient infrastructure and under provision of social services by the government. Despite their past and present-day challenges, the Ngäbe have largely maintained their customs, traditions and language.
